An Egyptian court extended remand of three journalists for 45 days on the case of no. 15060 for the year 2016. They are Osama Al-Beshbeshi, Hamdi Mokhtar Al-Zaaem and Mohamed Hassan who have been in custody for a year and a half on charges of publishing false news, demonstrating and joining an outlawed group.

Lawyer of Arab Media Freedom Monitor “Ikshef” presented defenses against the justifications of pre-trial detention, and that there is no single evidence of the loose charges presented by investigations of detectives only; However, the court issued its decision to extend remand of the three journalists.
