(Ikshef) – Egyptian journalist Yusuf Shaaban has been released after 15 months in prison for covering a protest.
Shaaban has completed prison sentence after he was accused of attacking security forces in Alexandria in 2013. He was covering a small protest at Raml police station against detaining a political activist.
Still, there are about 90 journalists in Egyptian prisons related to their work since the military coup in 3rd of July 2013.
