(Ikshef) – Six prosecution witnesses deny storming EJS headquarter and the court ignored the testimony of Badr

Abdeen Misdemeanor Court on Saturday postponed the trial of leaders of Egyptian Journalists Syndicate for July 9th session.

The Abdeen Court heard six of the prosecution witnesses in the case, two of them were police officers – who took part in storming EJS headquarters – and they denied break into the building and the existence of resistance from the security of EJs or any of the journalists to the police during the raid, stressing the root of the problem was EJS head refusing interference of Ministry of interiors in managing the activities on the Syndicate’s famous staircase.

The court rejected the request of the defense board to listen to the testimony of colleagues Amr Badr and Mahmoud Al-Sakka.
