Egyptian Court Adjourns Nine Journalists Case till August 3

An Egyptian court adjourned Rabaa Operations Room case, which includes nine journalists, till August 3.

The court rejected requests for releasing the journalist, and ordered the continuation of pre-trial detention.

The journalists are Abdullah Ahmed Mohammed Ismail Alfakharany, Samhy Mostafa Ahmed Abdulalim, Mohamed Mohamed Aladili, Ahmed Sabii, Youssouf Talat Mahmoud Mahmoud Abdulkarim, Hani Salheddin, Mosaad Albarbary, Abdo Dasouki and Waleed Abdulraoof Shalaby. They are detained for more than a thousand days.

Earlier, United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention stated that nine Egyptian Journalists are arbitrarily detained, and requested their immediate release as well as a compensation for their suffering.
