(Ikshef) –A State Council administrative court in Egypt decided to stop the lawsuit demanding abolition of broadcasting six satellite opposition channels.

A lawyer had filed a lawsuit No. 22 821, in which he called for the suspension and cancellation of broadcasting of Al-Shaab, Ahrar 25, Al-Shar’yiah, Al-Yarmouk, Al-Hiwar and Al-Maidan channels, on the pretext of inciting violence and hatred within the Egyptian society and incitement against the state.

The court was headed by Judge Ahmed Al-Shazly, vice president of the Council of State on Sunday.
